The alternative configuration of the Vector™ 2-in-1 system, Scorpion™ is a multicopter sUAS, ideal for dynamic and smaller-scale ISR missions in urban environments where maneuverability and stationary hover is required to provide real-time situational awareness. Using the same main fuselage, avionics hardware, ground controller, data link, sensors, and AI capabilities as Vector, the operator can easily swap from the fixed-wing configuration to multicopter in a matter of seconds by removing the wings and tail and attaching a separate set of booms and props.

Vector executes completely managed vertical take-offs and landings within restricted areas. Even amid challenging environmental circumstances such as gusts, warmth, debris, and precipitation, Vector navigates effectively for up to 180 minutes with smart cruise speed regulation ranging from 15 to 20 meters per second. Live video feed can be relayed to various Ground Control Stations via Mesh IP encrypted data links up to a span of 35 kilometers*. Its remarkably minimal noise emission renders it well-suited for discreet surveillance operations.

Propelled by nimble feature enhancement in tight collaboration with our clientele, Vector's distinct open systems framework—autopilot hardware and software components—facilitate a continual integration of functionalities. Leveraging onboard computational prowess and computer vision processing, incorporating cutting-edge AI and sophisticated networked communications, the system delivers information in a focused manner and can enhance decision-making processes with greater efficiency.

Vector is prepared for missions within three minutes. No tools are required for assembling the modular system, nor for swapping the gimbaled sensors. Coupled with the QBase Tactical mission planning and monitoring software, Vector carries out missions in a highly automated manner while the autopilot makes crucial decisions consistently and autonomously. The intelligent batteries of Vector optimize the performance and safety of all operations. The eVTOL capability necessitates no supplementary equipment or intervention.

Vector is engineered for longevity using resilient, top-tier glass-fiber reinforced materials. Paired with an IP54 certification, self-warming batteries, and an advanced active and passive cooling mechanism for data transmission and electronics, Vector can function in demanding and adverse environmental situations. The modular configuration streamlines maintenance and servicing, making it swift, economical, and straightforward. Individual components can be effortlessly dismantled and replaced.

NVIDIA Jetson Orin AI Board

Using on-board artificial intelligence, the system is increasingly capable of supporting decision-making processes in an efficient and user-friendly manner. Namely, the Raptor gimbaled sensor performs object detection, classification, and tracking. The operator only receives relevant information in the form of messages or warnings. Constant monitoring of the live video is not necessary. The AI Board also supports and enables GNSS-denied navigation.
